Boccacio survived the Black Death. His book, the Decameron, is a bit like the Arabian Night, but with a Medieval twist. A group of city folk escape to the countryside. To entertain themselves as the plague ravages, they tell each other stories. Jordan Harbour pulled out four of these stories and dramatized them with music and sound effects, along with a nightmarish description of the plague by Boccacio.
